Dwarf Crepe Myrtle project.....

Bought this at a local nursery about a month ago for $20...I cut the roots back and stuck it in a training pot I built....It's been about a month now and it's putting on lot's of tiny new growth and even a few flower buds which is kinda unusual for this variety of CM from what I read. I think it's a "Ruby Dazzle" which were developed for their small size and colorful foliage and rarely bloom.  Now for a few pics from the day I brought it home till this afternoon when I did some minor wiring.

I like it. You thinned it out nicely giving it a nice shape.  Worth the price. (I prefer the next to last picture as the front. The last photo shows a crossing branch.)

Thank you for the kind words of encouragement...I haven't even thought about a front yet....I may even drastically cut it back come early spring...?
