Schefflera arboricola 'Luseane'

I have been considering removing the left taller trunk and concentrating on creating a shohin from the larger trunk, although I like the tree as is also. Nothing until next year as the tree is still recovering from initial work. Your thoughts, as always, are appreciated.

Scheffleras back bud and propagate easily when force to do so. I would prune the left trunk at that ugly scar and the right branch in the middle of the curve. Plant the cuttings in water, they will root in 2-3 weeks. The tree on the other hand needs supplemental lighting 12-16 hrs a day. Watch your watering during this time frame. Not to do this, the growth will only continue from the tips, leaving you with an ugly scar and reverse taper.
