It's alive!
Last year before winter I tried collecting trees for the first time.
I'm happy to find out today that one of the two has survived!
I still don't know what it is yet but other members suggested spicebush based on the leaves.
Maybe the trunk is not suitable for bonsai, but I thought it was interesting.
