Bonsaimonk.com closing e store
Bonsai by the Monastery in Conyers, Georgia, USA (near Atlanta) has been a major importer/retailer of Bonsai supplies for many years. They had an extensive mail order/online business, but announced this week that they will close the e store effective 15 April, 2013 and only sell at the Monastery.
They are discounting some of their quality Japanese tools. Take a look at www.bonsaimonk.com.

That's depressing to hear, does anyone else know of a site with a comparable selection at comparable prices?

Fred has a ton of pots, quite a few Houtoku as well and he mentions a price match/beat policy if you can find the same thing cheaper elsewhere. Its best if you can go in person if your near him as whats online is just a small fraction of what is in his shop.

I will miss the e-store from the Monks. I think I have more trees in their pots then anybody else!

Thanks, I don't live near New York, so that's not really an option for me. I'm looking for someone like Bonsai Monk that has their entire selection online at a comparable price.

Aaron, try dallasbonsai.com
The only thing I've ordered is wire, the prices and service are great.
