Root Over Rock Larch

I collected this larch about seven years ago and with the heavy split root i decided to put it on a rock. After four years in the garden I planted it in it's current mica pot in 2010. I just lowered the crown in order to fill in a gap between the crown and the rest of the lower foliage.

Generally speaking, I don't like tall, upright trees growing root over rock, but this one works nicely. Good job.

I think you did an excellent job with this. Thanks for the post and keep the updates coming.

Great fix to the crown; it looks like it "always" grew that way. Please let us see it after the needles emerge.
