Re: Surprise from my kiln
Hello, dear friends,
here are some photographs of a garden construction in its various phases.
This is how the garden looked before.
This garden will be a part of the outside section of a Reiki- and Yoga centre and will be used for this purpose. The only requirements of the garden owner were a wooden deck on which Yoga exercises can be practised and somehow a Yin-Yang symbol.
A garden plan must always be designed first.
Then the construction phases begin.

Re: Surprise from my kiln
Flower rain
Thinking about perishableness, flower rain means recognising the moment.
Unfortunately, I cannot retrace how this glaze has come about in the kiln. So this little pot remains unique.
Best regards
Peter

Melancholy
When I opened the kiln it looked at me and told me about the melancholy of old age
... and I felt as if thousands and thousands of years were touching me.
Size: 30 cm x 25 cm x 10,5 cm
Best regards
Peter

Re: Surprise from my kiln
Peter those last two pots are just stunning. Flower rain is very unique indeed (love the finish) and the last one has an aged look ....right out of the kiln.....beautiful.

Hello Peter. I go through this whole thread of yours, from start to finish on a regular basis. There always seems to be something I have missed or not noticed that wow's me. A truly wonderful thread, with exquisite pots, from a very clever artist. Thankyou.
