Progression of a Neea buxifolia in 9 years

Dear all,

I tried to post it in the progression section, but I have no access. Let me show you here.

The raw material I got in 2004 from Puerto Rico.



From the other side



I made some cut on the tree, so that the shape was like in the picture below






I grew it in a pot and I took the picture again in 2005



The tree kept on growing happily in my garden. Here was the shape in 2007



I tried to speed up the ramification. Fortunately in February 2008 I got this shape below.



Just yesterday I took an other picture on my baby. It was the shape on January 2013.

Hello Budi Sulistyo.
Thank you for showing bonsai practice.
In modern life most thing are moving to the short term planning.
That is why i am touched by these pictures of 9 years of vision and trust.
It contradicts the poorness of the lack of vision behind the many things
mankind is made to believe.

Very fine work, Budi. It's great to see a tree taken from bare trunk(s) to bonsai over the course of several years. Exactly the way it needs to be done.

Lovely tree and inspiring progression. Right up to the last photo, I got the impression that the tree was larger than it actually is.

Thanks Neli. I have thought of the good quality material when I saw it in the first instant. I asked for the price, he gave me for free instead.
