An image of a Fukien tea's root before yearly repotting,
Hey folks,
I thought I might share this with you.
This is my fukien tea, before repotting. It's a yearly repotting and the pot is deep as you can see from the soil's shape.
The organic material is powder, a few of the inorganic particles have been broken into smaller pieces.
BUT there are no fines anywhere to block the drainage. If I risked a bad case of drying out, for a few months more the roots would begin to lift the tree out of the pot.
There is presently no new growth and the tree is somewhat dormant. So it's into the shade for 1 week and then back into full sunlight.
Comments or other, yay or nay as you wish.
Later.
