For Nigel P. From Trinidad to Jamaica with friendship
Hello All,
just trying to encourage more of the West Indies to come forward and show what the islands have been doing.
Nigel,
this is Oxalis f. a small shrub. I have had it for maybe 10 to 12 years, I am not sure.
At 9" [ 20 cm ] tall and 16" [ 41 cm ] and I don't know the lifespan.
Easy to grow, and has a beautiful dark bark.
To be repotted this year, last repot was probably 2009.
Enjoy, and as usual feel free to say nay or yay.
Later.

Hello Khaimraj,
Good idea to see some trees from your region.
What a natural tree image, lovely.
A world of its own and a caring tree where one can take refuge.
Could do with a replacement in the pot and some work on the branches but this is something you know ofcours.

Khaimraj,
Very nice......really easy to identify with as a Caribbean tree in miniature. I can imagine it being in a forest or woodland, perhaps on the brow of a hill or at the edge of the horizon.....a large canopy which provides shelter for birds and other animals.
It certainly provides motivation to develop and show more local trees and up the ante.
Thanks for sharing
Regards,
Nigel
