Contorted Japanese Flowering Apricot Empty Contorted Japanese Flowering Apricot

My Contorted Japanese Flowering Apricot has flowered early this year. Judging by the number of flower buds that are still developing, I am hoping a long flowering season.

If you have a smart phone with a QR Code reader, the larger code gives copyright info and the smaller takes you to my web site. Many of the articles I’ve written there are about bonsai.

I hope you enjoy my tree.

While that more slanted trunk may be an improvement -- at least in the photo -- I think it would tip over in that little pot with the tiny footprint (which fits the tree nicely!).

I think the original picture better. The vertical trunk gives the tree a more graceful appearance.

This tree has quite a few different fronts. While the base of the trunk is vertical here, the rest of the tree is less so. This particular front also shows the deadwood to better advantage.

I know nothing technically , but to me, any way I look at it, she is a beautiful dancer. Cherish her!

I agree! I think it would be beautiful even if you planted it upside-down.

(did you say this came from camellia forest?)

No. My tree came from Forestfarm.

Thanks for your comments!
