Bonsai Society of Western Australia 2012 Spring Show
Over the weekend the Bonsai Society of Western Australia held its' Spring Show. Admission is a gold coin ($1) to charity (Telethon). I estimated over 2,000 went thru the gate. Here are some of the trees on show. Apologies for the poor quality of the photo. Lighting was not ideal and was shooting in a rush.
Cheers, CJ

I don't know why the picture turned out so small. I did the same as I have always done.

Thanks for sharing. I love the tea tree. Do you think it will grow in the tropics? I found some seeds sale in Amazon:

Re: Bonsai Society of Western Australia 2012 Spring Show
Hi Ray, my relative tried to grow them in Singapore. No luck. The weather in Singapore is hot year round (25 - 35). They can stand a few months of hot weather like those in Perth (up to 42). However they just love a cold spell. I observed that when the weather here goes thru a really cool spell, my tea trees look more radiant and vigorous. I saw two NZ tea trees in Singapore but grown under controlled condition in the brand new over S$1 billion Garden by the Bay.

Very nice to see good examples using Australian natives.
The Albany Woollybush is really different. Nice
The bark on the Callistemon is well developed.
Thanks for posting

You probably just clicked in the wrong box in the copy screen. No big deal.
Very nice show!

Thanks for posting! Jim is probably right. There is a link to the thumbnails which you posted instead of the full sized image. No problem as it is easily seen anyway.

Thanks Jun. We hope to get more people into bonsai. This is one way to slowly work bonsai into the mainstream of society.
