Yes, but it also looks like Cupressus sempervirens
I'd say it's Cypress, but I'm not a cypress guy.

Well, it does look a little like juniper, since they are in the same family. This could very well be Cupressus sempervirens var. horizontalis, the wild form. The Italian cypress we usually see is the variety stricta, the cultivated form. Compare yours with pictures on the Web, or with a known specimen.

Actually one of my friends claims it is a juniper, but there are some others who claim it is a cypress.

Nevertheless I stopped by a nursery yesterday afternoon, and examined both junipers and cypresses closely by comparing their leaves to a leaf taken from my tree.
It seems that my tree is definitely a cypress because the matched tree has these cones:
