Burford holly
Hi All, I am new to this forum. I need advice on Burford holly. Is dwarf Burford Holly a good candidate for bonsai? If yes, when is the right time for branch pruning and repotting? Thanks

Re: Burford holly
I wouldn't advise repotting at this time of year. These are temperate zone plants and while they are evergreen, they still slow down over the winter. Some light pruning for shape and thinning out the foliage probably will be OK, but wear gloves. The leaves can be painful to work around.
I've never considered any of the "Chinese hollies" to be idea bonsai candidates, but the dwarf may be OK.
