Satsuki propagaters
Anyone out there propagating satsuki and bringing them along for bonsai, stateside? There aren't a lot of sources for starter plants. The few who sell them are either selling expensive imported stuff or shwubbery. There's a vacuum here, folks! Wanna support your hobby?

I have a nurseryman friend who grows some varieties - but as landscape plants, not bonsai. I have access to liners and 1 gallons. What are you looking for?

Seems to me it will be very difficult to do Satsuki in Minnesota, and one from California would have an extremely difficult time. Do you know anyone else in your area who has had success with Satsuki bonsai?
