Juniper Bonsai Yellow/Green

Ok thanks for the help. It is unfortunate that it is dead, but I guess there is nothing I can do besides read up on what to do right. I think I am going to purchase another Juniper after winter. It just seems to make sense, why purchase it now when it is going to be dormant all season? I don't think I am going to throw it away just yet. I'll give it a few more weeks (even though it is likely dead) because the bad side is the side that faces the sun. Ill try to revive it, but I am keeping my expectations down.

juniper? looks wrong to me - trunk & foliage

cryptomeria maybe?? - 100% keep it outside, all the time - never indoors. this one could be dead as flash is good to show up problems and this one looks sandy brown all over the outer growth. a good hint is brown inner growth = tree can recover, brown outer growth it probably will not.

a few inner buds on the trunk may survive if it gets fresh air - if they do it grows quickly enough
