Rocks/Substrate for humidity/drip tray

What type of rocks or substrate would be good for a humidity/drip tray? For example would zeolite be good or some other type of rock?

Thanks in advance for your help.....

IMO, humidity trays don't help much, if at all. They're only really good at catching the water that comes out when you water, not at increasing humidity.
