A friend who is moving decided he didn't want to lug a bunch of heavy stones with him, and brought several to our last meeting. These are from waterways up north of Asheville at about 5,000 feet.

I got 2. Here's the first:

They look good! With carbon black color, as if the primitive simplicity beauty of Chinese painting.
