Hey YOU'LL SHOOT YOUR EYE OUT KID! I know you have heard all the safety concerns but I just wanted to say thanks for sharing this and keeping it PG rated without blood and guts. It is a spectacular result and a useful technique for the rest of us to consider if not emulate. I have a Shimpaku Juniper I plan on splitting in the spring. These demo has made my mind up to do so, though the particular tree is not large enough to require a chain saw.
