Acer palmatum is very variable: seedlings from the same tree can sometimes look a bit different, that's why there are so many cultivars.
To me, it looks like Acer palmatum... palmatum, the plain species. Of course, spring and autumn colours can help tell if it's a variety or cultivar, but it also depends on other factors like the nature of the soil, how it is oror isn't fertilized, climate, sun exposure, etc.
For the moment, just call it "Acer palmatum sp.", which is the way trees that are difficult to identify other than the species are usually called. But I think it's just the plain species.
