did someone say bonsai road trip ???

matter of fact, yes... i did.
got my tool roll, my paddle-board (SUP), my bicycle and a skateboard or 2...

off to north carolina and this is how i roll...
the modern version of the VW bus.







and yes, those are lime green cougars perched in gnarley old pines
and so i call it the cougar den...

after all, like everyone else, i got into bonsai for the groupies.

Have a good trip. Just wondering.. If you add all that equipment to the current setup.. Where will you put your trees? How many do you take on the trip?

Coming home Kevin will be sleeping in the driver's seat, because that truck will be full of trees, he won't be able to help himself. Have a good trip. Learn a lot and take pictures.

Looks like you caught that tree bending over for a drink. How cool! Always moved by the misty distance-view of the hills. I think one of the by-laws of the AAC...leeet's seeee...yeah here it is... is that deals on old bonsai pots need to be evenly distributed between AAC members.

thanks I enjoyed that immensely. Wish I could have gone to Scrounger's. I need some wigs for my model work, on this side it is mostly black hair, curly or other. Oh, for a blonde wig for my models

Great photos, sounds like a great trip. Nothing like a visit to a great artist to fire up the imagination. I've driven the Virginia stretch of the Blue Ridge Parkway recently and the scenery is awesome.
