Hi Stonener

Your stone looks like it has a nice texture.I would like to know how big it is.....

I have seen you have a nice jitta, and a pillow, and have taken the step further, to present viewingstones or suiseki....
So, why have you decided to show us this stone this plain way, when it is not needed.

Kind regards Yvonne

and then will post results,
as you have done in the past,
I have been inspired... bounce

Hi Stonener

I will look forward to see your daisas Very Happy . They will give your stones the recognition as a suiseki they deserves.
A daisa for the stones, is the best way to keep the stone safe.

Remember, in the end of the carvings, only to remove 1/4 mm at the time . Take your time, and enjoy.

Kind regards Yvonne

Hi Sunip

Up to now, have I only found 3 flintstones I liked, and who did not have fairly new chips....and they are all of the yellow type, with old patina.
I hope to show them on my tread, with my danish stones much later.

Kind regards Yvonne

Awesome stone, of good quality.
I prefer the last two ways of displaying the stone......find a good suiban, or a shallow bonsaipot, and cover the holes Smile.

Kind regards yvonne

No, didnt bother to keep them Embarassed
I am not yet into stones for real, maybe because I did collect fossils for many years Wink

point well then

Post  stonener on Fri Dec 02, 2011 6:02 pm

Sup? Hung,
My friend the problem is:
I like the head shape most, but!
in a daiza or suiban the image is lost,
as landscape mountain no appeal!
Ms Yvonne's interesting question,
of why not? jiita & pillow comes full circle,
So again, after all is said and done,
I still think! "less is more!"... Suspect

Hello,
Here one can not see through the hole either from the front but i managed to get some light trough it.
All stones are quite small.
Sorry for the display as i have no nice suibans or daizas for it.
