Re: IBA&CB report
Jun,
Thank you for posting the pics of this show. I love the displays, very artisitic, dramatic, subtle in some, I especially love the Juniper with the bicycle IT was great to see you on stage with the other "big" artists.

Jun - i tried to PM you, but it looks like you have disabled that feature
if you do come to the US, you should do a tour and include Milwaukee Wi.
the Milwaukee Bonsai Society has had the privilege of hosting many national and international artists
over the years and you would most likely be a welcome addition to that esteemed list.
seriously.
come to Milwaukee.
and i could look at this thread forever and then an extra day.

Very impressed with the new and exciting display features. the trees were very nicely prepared .
I have to laugh at myself, because I'm usually a stuck in the mud japanese way of doing things guy.
Come to seattle right after milwaukee

Don't asked me about the PM. It was a disciplinary action of sort for defending my privacy. Ironic..hehe.
If ever my visit push thru. I will be in contact with most IBC friends,,,and I hope I won't disappoint you.

Yes Dick benbow. The displays ware very impressive. there were traditional displays too. But all the trees were very matured and the quality were so high.
I have relatives in Seattle.

Osoyoung,
No. That is one of Robert's collection.
There maybe some similarity, because I learned some styles from Robert.

I meant no offense
But seriously, Jun, were any of your bonsai in the show? Other than windswept, I don't know your styles well enough to pick what might be yours from all the photos.

Osoyoung,
Not at all...hehe. i am not offended in any way.
And No, I don't have an exhibited tree in there. These are all local Indonesian trees coming from all over the country. I am in the Philippines some 6hours flight to the city venue. I came in IBA&CB exhibition for demo work and as speaker, not an exhibitor.
We'll have a National exhibition here in Manila on 2nd week of November. There I will exhibit two or three trees.
