Thank you, Jun.

I noticed that you did a demo bonsai at the show as well. Please tell/show us about it, here or in another thread.

Thanks

PURE

ARTISTIC

FREEDOM !!!

having said that, a couple displays look awkward and/or contrived  scratch
BUT the majority are absolutely STUNNING. Shocked

Check out my blog for two reports and information on the exhibits and demonstrations. This was an excellent historic event and I feel honored to have contributed to it.

Jun did a great job and I was impressed with his presentation and finished demo tree.

Jun, thanks for posting. Please post more pictures to share with the world.....

Simply thanks to everyone that have made this event a succesfull moment. Hope this will be a monumental break through in bonsai history to bring bonsai to another level to enjoy.

On behalf of our whole team, we'd like to appologize for any improper services or any mistakes done during the event. Still many things to improve... critique and suggestion are welcome.

We'd like to make "International Bonsai Art & Culture Biennale" to be an international event, we hope the next IBA&CB in 2016 will be hosted by other country. So anyone interested, please contact me...and let's do a better one together, we will give our full support !

The "Break Through" at the opening.....

Thank you This is my demo trees.

Robert gave me 5 trees for Penjing landscape. And saw them all an hour before the demo hour.

That's me on the far right. I managed to find a descent tray from one of Robert's good crew. too small for all the 5 trees so I settled for 2 trees instead. I just used the other trees  as an example of on how to select the right angles and characters of the trees.

Working on the right position of the second tree, after positioning the main tree on the right side.

after the positioning of the tree, I removed all about half of the total branches to come up with one movement for the two trees. The secondary tree on the left side, I used it as a raft tree and created depth on perspective by slowly reducing the volume of branches and foliage pads until it reaches the left most end of the tray's back portion.

The finish tree landscape style Penjing. Time for the explanation and pointers for the audience. I gave them the very basic guides in creating such styles...Including perspective, negative space, branch structuring etc.

Some happy Customers..hehe

Mrs Solita Rosade of WBFF was happy too. giving me an invitation to visit US for some demo. looking forward to it.

It was an hour and 15 minute demo... and a very memorable one for me.
