Here is a mume in November 2008 and Today.

I know... the pot is wrong.

I have alot of work on the ramification. This year it grew three times with two defoliation (I know...I'm a bad boy Laughing )

I think the colors in the pot compliment the colors in the trunk quite nicely.

At this time of year the foliage of Mume is always awful.

Lovely development. I hope that you start getting a good show of flowers soon. Any idea what colour this one is? Mine has been very slow to start blooming - 12 years from seed!

Beautiful work with the deadwood. I almost commented on the angularity of the first few photos, then lower down: beautiful carving.
