Mirek friend asked me to insert a photo of today's tree.

In my opinion for the first restyling very good job, as usual now it looks like tree. but there is a future before that tree, future with more changes, time will tell

Lovely trunk. But I believe it might not be a mume. The flowers appear to be more like peach ..........

You're right, it's not Prunus mume - "ume". But I think it's actually Prunus salicina - "sumomo", Japanese plum.

i like it even more now, after the re-styling.

Simply amazing,,,,,hope to have a tree like yours someday. Wow wow wow .....care to share some tips on how you maintain such a perfect looking example of mume? It's my favorite tree and I am still trying to get my first one,,,,but just can't seem to find anything nice,
