We looking ( admỉre ) stone mountain many a time ( with temporary seating ) ... before do for it a seating (?)
I always do that with my love Stone ...
This stone mountain of you have a bottom flat ,and the natural patina is very nice ... did a mountain - Suiseki ?

Ya! Hung, I will try to make a stand!
as you have for yours, not sure how?.
Stone bottom not so flat, has high bottom.
Maybe better deep in suiban, or maybe on stand as caves,
if in a suiban with a little water looks more like an island?
If like daiza, would be thick when gaps filled in, I think not so good!
Maybe try Chinese Style, up high on flat top,
only carve small divots to anchor ends and center...
Maybe Sensei Peter or Chris will say how with lines! I hope...

Your stone has high bottom ... You can play it in SUIBAN ( better way ? )
Or make for it on DAIZA ? But that is difficult and Mountain with DAIZA ... is not nice !
What do you think about that ...???

Hi Joseph... Is your stone limestone? Has the surface been processsed (acid dipped, polished or emolient added)? Do you wish a traditional mounting or something more artistic. I imagine two traditional possibilities which would be particularly well-supported if the stone is limestone.

Hello Chris! Thank You for your time.
I collected these on a field trip,
to the Yuha Desert with AisekiKai Club.
They are very hard, have a singing quality to the touch,
and are totally as found, only washed with mild soap.
The surface is sand blasted naturally, looks like material I found on Kauai
So I'm thinking of Volcanic origin, the three mountains are fairly flat,
But the island shape has a under cut bottom, as if by waves.
I posted on two of Hung threads, help!...
