Just want to share with you my large rafting Ficus benyamina. The total width is about 1.5 meters...

Thanks Ryan, not significantly reduced, around 3 cm, but small enough for the size of the tree.

Thanks Ed, John..it has been trained for more than 15 years. Still need to work a little bit on the first two branches and the river bank...

Here is another one, the same size, the pot is 120 cm width.

Very cool trees Robert. When I first looked at them I thought the title said they were phemphis. Even more impressive with a Ficus benjy.

BTW, I plan for the China penjing tour around April next year as we talked about, any thought or suggestion ?
Two days for penjing learning program, visit one of the biggest private penjing collections, go to Guilin and Huangshan (Yellow Mt)...maybe about a 10 days tour...

I got the material from a local nursery, it was from a big cut of a branch I think. When I got it, there were only the big main tree and a small one on the left; then I redesign the composition. Unfortunately I don't have the pictures to show when it was started...
