Hi fellow members, here is one of my Jamaican Ebonies that I have. I purchased these from Jupiter Bonsai where Allen Carver is the owner. He is one of the only nurseries that carry this species. I hope you enjoy it, hopefully soon I can place it an appropriate pot. Comments are welcomed.

Just wondering is the wood black like African Ebony?

Thank you for your comments. Rob the bark is grayish black. I checked out the African Ebony and i do not believe it is the same species.

This tree is common in Venezuela. The latin name is Brya ebenus.
