Making my first yamadori Empty Making my first yamadori

Found the perfect tree outside, too bad i only had a trowel and hedge trimmers, after a half hour of digging i got it out and just put it in a pot.

Its about 2 feet tall.

Its really hard to see the detail. A picture up close would help us see the potential.

the pictures are to small, what species is it. From what I can tell I do not see much potential with it, but either way it needs to go back in the ground for a while to become something thick enough to work with. opps, todd you beat me to it
