I do like your pomegranite,
and I'm not the expert here, I'm also here to learn,
but your Apex look to 'heavy' for me - branches are to thick at the top.. I think.
Where are the experts? probably still- ing
It almost looks like a fantasy tree. nice

Hi Rui!
Are you planning to keep your pomegranate small? If you do, it will easily ramified, and for me I like the last photo for front but the right side branches longer with more movement. if you keep your tree small the fruit size would be a problem in the future.
regards,
jun

Thet will drop leaves in cool weather. In warmer areas the old leaves turn yellow and drop but the plant grows and has new leaves all winter.

Hi all,
After searching, i remember about this post of Hans Van Meer: https://ibonsaiclub.forumotion.com/t9249-restyling-my-old-blackthorn-bonsai-completely
Is it feasible this kind of work on this punica?

Nice progress. How about some pics when she puts her cloths on those bones. Should be outstanding.

I'm sure it is time, but my main goal is the development of the tree now.
