Short back & sides

This English Oak was donated to me by a friend and has lived in my garden for two years now. Today I gave it a major haircut.

Was hoping to take it in this sort of direction

I think you should grow it more like an Oak tree and less like a Juniper. Just my opinion.

Mr Miyagi,, I like your oak and you DID give it a trim !! the virt looks good,,but could you make the canopy some more wider?? just a thought for more green foliage..take care john
