Cannabis bonsai nursery

Police found today a rare cannabis bonsai nursery in Holland.
They used 8 big shaped trees, but also this way it is not allowed.

I would of thought Holland would be a country you could get away with owning a Marijuana Bonsai lol

I do not know if the 34 year old male was arrested on wednesday, for owning 8 bonsai shaped big cannabis
ore the illegal connection to the electricity supply to get his cannabis nursery going.
The police considered the idea as rare anyway.

i think landeroos has it right there.....cannabis is an annual, not a tree - it grows, flowers then dies so the only way to keep one alive for a long time is to never let it see true daylight. The plant must never think late summer is coming or it will make flowers, so the day length must be kept artificial and the spectrum of light must be kept to make vegetation growth (2700k). ocne the spectrum of light drops and daylength shortens the plant would flower. This report would just be a drug raid and they were probably parent plants for taking cuttings, as you could never take a cannabis bonsai from its artificial 'world', not sure the leaves reduce either .

Marcus, I am from asia (Philippines) and my (late) grandmother owned Cannabis she use for medicinal purposes that are older than me (back then) and are huge! Those are probably different breed though.

I remember my older cousins raiding the dried leaves during summer vacation LOL, She also got a visit from the local police and request she kill/remove it as well as the seedlings sprouting underneath. She argued and they allowed her to keep one. She chose to keep the biggest one.

I'm stuck in a senior moment. Bonsai is defined as "tree in a pot". Would a cannabis bonsai be "pot in a pot"?

Bon-bon or Sai-sai?

I think that a forest fire in the world's first Cannabis bonsai forest would be a tragedy, unless you were IN the forest at the time of the fire!
