This not the same thing as a "Cherry" in the Northern Hemisphere. This is a tropical plant that gets a small red berry.

I am familiar with the species, I just wanted to make other readers aware that it is not a true Cherry.

How tall, how wide is the trunk?
Do you intend to fatten the first branch a bit?
Has it flowered or fruited as of yet ?
