I think this is going to be a great event...I was looking for where the event is taking place, Peniscola is Here I guess flying to Barcelona would be the best option.

Peñiscola or Peniscola is the same.
In the coming days, we will give information. How to travel to Peñiscola?
Hotels that give a special price for people who come to the Sakka Ten.
Etc.

For flying:

Peñiscola is close to Castellon de la Plana ( new airport, open coming soon),
also is close to Valencia or Reus.

I think Ryanair and easyjet flies to this airports.

Peñiscola it is an old town, very nice, good weather, good food

Les activités parallèles, encore à déterminer, seront sûrement:
1. Peñiscola: cité, château templier, siège papale de Benoît XIII, et le soir promenade en caravelle pour voir la péninsule et le château depuis la mer. Nous aurons à disposition un guide multilingue. (Prix à déterminer)
2. Visite au centre d'interprétation de la forêt d'oliviers millénaires la plus vaste du monde, à La Jana. Aussi, visite dans une coopérative de produits obtenus des oliviers millénaires, produits typiques de la region, et visite à la ville fortifié de Morella, prochain patrimoine de l'humanité. Déplacement en autobus (Prix à déterminer).
Près du Palais des congrès, il y a une vaste zone verte, avec un étang et des animaux, des parcs de jeux pour les enfants, un équipement multisport gratuit, et une promenade de plus de 6 km pour se balader au bord de la mer. Vous pouvez aussi profiter des plages de Peñiscola pour prendre un bain de soleil ou pour vous plonger dans l'eau. Il y a une autre promenade de 3 km à l'intérieur des marais de l'Ullal de Peñiscola.
En plus, vous pouvez visiter la partie la plus ancienne de la ville, entourée de murailles, et vous pouvez vous perdre entre ses ruelles tout en faisant une belle promenade pleine d'histoire et de belles vues.
Aussi, vous pouvez visiter, si vous le voulez, le parc naturel terrestre et maritime de la Serra d'Irta, le plus long parcours avec des côtes vierges dans tout le littoral méditerranéen espagnol (14 km). Vous pouvez louer des voitures ou des vélos devant l'hôtel.

Sakka Ten 2012, parallel activities

EXCURSION TRIP to Morella ( Gotic City)

Morella is an extraordinary example of a Gothic city and has the designation of Property of Cultural Interest.
The highlights are, first of all, the castle and medieval walls, erected in the 14th century. Within the old enclosure, there are notable churches, like the Santa María la Mayor Archpriest (1263-1330), Gothic with Baroque details; the old San Francisco Convent (13th century); the San Juan Churches (15th century), Gothic with Neoclassical decorations, and the San Nicolás Church, Gothic; and the San Marcos and San Pedro Mártir Chapels.
In civil architecture, the Casa de la Villa (14th and 17th century), and the Ciruana, Piquer, Rovira and Cardinal Ram Houses are all worth mention, as well as the hospital (15th century).
Likewise, walking through the group of streets full of staircases and by the porticos of Blasco de Alagón, completing a loop around the mountain on Alameda and contemplating the outside of the medieval Santa Llúcia aqueduct are essential for getting to know this city.
Two points of interest stand out in the municipality of Morella: the cave paintings of Morella La Vella, and the Sanctuary of the Virgen of Vallivana. Every six years since 1673, a procession climbs to the virgin of the city. On the edges of the highway there are many chapels where pilgrims perform prayers and supplications on their 22 kilometre march.
