Utah Juniper. Thinking about the future.
I collected this a few years ago at White Mountain and it's growing and healthy. Time to think about styling.

This is how it looks now.

The proposed new planting position.

My amateurish virt of the style.

Maybe a pot like this...
Let me know what you all think.

I think it would be an amazing tree if you kept the top branches, and carved that vertical jin on the bottom left.
I followed the major branches and placed several years growth of foliage in this virtual desing.
Great tree. Good luck with it.

Great looking piece of material Paul. Always nice to see natives near. Those virts look good, I think the more compact you can make it the better. Keep us posted!

Rob,
The background of your picture looks a lot like the place I dug the tree.

Nice material. The backlit photos make it difficult to see details (especially of the base), dead wood, etc. I think I like the more upright styling suggested by Rob, compared to the cascades.

Fantastic material Paul. And boy did you luck out to have Rob, Vev and Cram all draw some ideas up, all you guys are great artists. Really great sketches guys! I love them all, I'd have a hard time picking one
Paul, I think that's a good start, but I'd put some bends in your branches. Put some movement into them..left, right, up, down. But you're off to a great start with a really nice tree. Must feel especially nice having collected it yourself. Well done!
