It's windy outside
I bought a few of my shohin trees into the conservatory last night as gale force winds were predicted.
As I needed to take pictures of some newly finished stands I thought I'd take the opportunity to take a few shots of some of the trees I'd bought inside.
I've only given the pots a quick wipe over so please forgive me for the presentation and chopsticks etc.
Japanese Maple in Walsall Ceramics pot
Potentilla in Erin pot (the picture doesn't do justice to the glaze)
Another lovely Erin glazed pot
Chinese Elm in training pot, (I have a nice yellow Koyo pot ready for re-potting in the spring)
Japanese White Pine
Japanese Quince in Erin pot, another glorious glaze.
That's it folks, hope you enjoy them.

Lovely trees, John, and the jittas are no' bad either.
Glad you got those beauties in before the wind came. I lost a glasshouse pane in the overnight gale but fortunately my inner layer of insulation stopped any damage to the trees inside.

Nice to hear from you and many thanks for your comments.
Fi, glad to hear no damage to your trees.
I've made my winter shelter from polycarbonate as I have a large Ash tree overhanging my garden and I frequently find twigs and branches strewn about the garden. The polycarbonate isn't as good for letting the light in but it's a safer bet for avoiding breakages.

Re: It's windy outside
I've been a fan of Erin pottery for a few years now, especially after seeing them extensively on Harry Harringtons site. I noticed maybe just a few weeks ago several coming up for sale on Ebay and I thought that was new and unusual. Lovely trees.
I have a Poly-carb green house and the best part is, if I loose one all I have to do is "pop" it back into place!
