My new Premna :)

Hi guys,

I bought a new material. Im not sure if its worth it or if it will be a fine looking bonsai someday, but here it is





One branch is blocking the other one but from what i was told the stronger branch will be kept and the other one discarded/jinned.



Hoping someday it will look like one of Robert Steven's Premna.

well i love it , where did you buy it from, would they ship one to me if i did a money transfer . regards john

Hi Hirow.

This is going to be a nice bonsai, but not conventional in style. Probably a raft or twin trunk windswept. but for now, plant the tree in its upright position to help it recover faster.

Our premma is not as good (variety) as the Indonesian variety got. Ours got bigger leaves.

Thanks John. Im afraid I wont be able to do that . I bought it at UP Diliman Bonsai. It's where most materials are comin from here in the Philippines.

Thanks sir Jun! I hope so. I already planted it deep in a styro box since i dont have a huge pot for it. Hopefully we can do raft style as per Mang Mel.
