Fall colors at the exhibition....
Hi, everybody!
Prior to a long overwinting period I did a quick "Bonsai in Russian" exhibition in Moscow that included predominantly bonsai from domestic trees though given the size of Russia that potentially includes many various kinds of trees from northern trees to ones that are to be found in Mideterrenian region. ) In fact, I have not yet collected at all beyound Urals! ) Any way, some of the photos from the exhibition...
just a finishing touch prior to transporting the trees to the exhibition...

Excellent trees. Can you go back and edit the post to identify the trees?
Oh . . . I was looking above the pictures. Nevermind.

Looks like they're all labeled except for the first one. I feel like I should recognize it but am not sure - can you tell us? Is it a quince? Love that tree.

I believe that title should be changed to : "Amazing Fall Colours"!!!
Splendid vision of your trees!
edit : Your thuja is absolutely different than what we usually see as bonsai style for this species.

Very nice trees...and the baby accent complements the color of the first tree. he/she is better than the dragonfly accent from Tony.

That's a awesome accent with the first tree..... I like the outfite choice the baby is wearing it really accentuates the fall color of the tree beautifully she is a cute little darlen!

Many thanks, Kora! Yes. this quince is from 2005 trip to Japan. One of very few Japaneese trees I continue to keep.kora wrote:Hello Andrei:

Andrei,
The trees are standing tall, even if the leaves are falling fast.
And speaking of fast, your son is growing so fast. He's a handsome lad.

Beautiful trees, very nicely displayed. I've spent the last 30 minutes looking at them
I really like the way you've used some fallen leaves in the displays, it's a nice touch.
Thanks for sharing them.
