Star fruit is popular in VietNam. But the materials are depend on how it's look suitable for bonsai style.
And the blue bell is very popular for the time being, coz' it has most strong points of being a bonsai tree. In wild life, it's habitat is in center mountans of VN.
It grows strongly in natural condition even in hot anh cold season, so I think it can grow in the West. But in winter with snow and freezing I am not sure...
