Crassula ovata 'gollum'

A small trumpet jade (11 inches in height from the top of the root mass) in need of repotting...I have received the pot and will plan to post a follow-up image.

I've never had one of these in my collection, but have done workshops with them. I did a demo at Jim Smith's club last week, which was also his birthday celebration, and he convinced me to get a jade. He has some amazing ones !

Hi, Ed....thanks for the kind words...I like this particular Crassula cultivar for bonsai...and you are right, Jim's jades are absolutely stunning. Here is the pot I will be moving it into.....and will repost later...

Repotted and begining to leaf out again...total height including the pot is 12 inches.

I bought my mother a large one of those for her birthday this week. She has developed an interest in succulents. However, once I started looking closer, I wondered if it would do well as bonsai. I would say the answer is yes. Very nice!!!
