V.K. Slovakia
Dear friends.
I would like to show you one of my older stones. This is very simple stone that I found a years ago. Dirty stone on first photo, cleaned with rice brush and water.
Stand is also very simple, without foots .Some people has problem with it but I think it is OK.
closer view...
stone has a natural flat bottom..
Stone was awarded by the President of the ESA in 2010.(small, but nice international exhibition - Hlohovec 2010)
Kind regards
Vlado.

Hi Vlado
I am happy to see, you have started a new tread with your stones......I hope friendly discussions, based on your stones, will stray a little in between.....untill you decide to show us a new stone .
I like the shown stone a lot... very unusual and rare, not a stoneshape you often find. I understand why it was rewarded.
The seat hes no feet......To me it looks like the seat is something betwwen a seat for a japanese- and a suseok( indonesian) stone.....A suseok-seat is VERY often without feet , and big compared to the japanese taste.....but this seat is small-
I will enjoy the stone more, if it has a seat with feet, to the japanese taste, as the stone is very elegant, and is to the japanese taste.
To carve a new daisa, can't be a problem for you
Kind regards Yvonne

Hi Valdo!
Your First stone to me, is a very powerful majestic landscape view,
amazing start to finish job well done!
I agree with your design for seat, grounded & strong feeling.
Fancy style duck feet look good on duck's not Mountains...

Hi Vlado
I still love the first stone
Nice to see a new stone from you...The collor is dramatic, and the shape and daiza together make a nice whole image....Is this a stone you would call a coastalstone?, or do you see it, as only artistic?
I also use gardenyoseki..some stones really benefit from it, also after only one year....and the thought of, "the longer in the garden the better", leave you with no hurry in the world....nice.
Kind regards Yvonne

..thank you for your replies friends.
Yvonne , although daiza is done, the yoseki ( garden) process will continue .
After some time, maybe after 5-6 years the stone will get a nice patina. Better than it has now...

WoW! Vlado
This is Love at first sight!
Normally I would associate the fit of the daiza to the stone as that of a female undergarment!
But I have promised and will be more aware of how others perceive my words from now on.
For fear that it might make someone else uncomfortable, which I can totally understand.
Absolutely beautiful suiseki reminds me of the hillside coffee bean plantations in South America,
were Juan Valdez picks beans for Folgers, as seen from a plane on approach there.
The ratio's are perfect and that of a expansive tropical mountain landscape view.
The daiza is of equal dynamite quality, exquisite fit, taper and those feet are ideal!
I normally don't like this kind on mountains but these work nicely.
Your work is totally impressive and of high quality which is easy to see...

Re: V.K. Slovakia
Vlado will you Please share some details about suiseki and daiza
Interested in knowing a little more about both...
were collected- river or?, what type of stone?
size etc. You say "old" Do you mean when collected?
Is that moss growth on it from garden or mineral.
About daiza-type of wood? stain color etc.
Looking back I agree with others, all nicely done!
I understand language can be a little difficult.
But wanting to learn more about you and stones,
from your country....
