PONDEROSA PINE ROCK PLANTING
In 1986 Dan Robinson and I did a dual demo for the Bonsai Society of San Francisco at their annual exhibit. Dan styled an old collected Ponderosa Pine. I constructed a rock structure to plant in on, using fast setting construction grade epoxy. One of the club members won it in the raffle. Not long after that she gave it to me as it was much too heavy for her to manage.
I've been doing some needle removal and wiring to make it more presentable. The height including the pot is about 30 inches.
