SUMO SHOHIN BOXWOOD

Collected boxwood in sumo style. Height is about 5 1/2 inches from pot rim. Measurment around base of trunk about 17 inches. The pot came from a club member's estate, potter unknown. Most likely local.
The first image is the fromt of the bonsai. The second is to show more of the carving. When I aquired it, there was a large and bulbous chunk of deadwood. Ideal situation for power carving.
