Bonsaifestival i Kolding

The previus weekend, we had the annual yearmeeting in Denmark...this time it was 30th. years anniversery.
The event was held in the beatiful old castle Koldinghus.
Many from the danish bonsaiwold showed up, and it was very nice to talk to many old, and some brand new friends.
It was a very nice weekend.
This year the bonsaimaster Tomohiro Masumi was invited to demonstrate shohin. Danish members had brought many diffrent shohin material for Tomohiro to demonstrate on.

As the theme this year was shohin...wil I show most of the shohindisplays.....theese was from members not known to IBC









The next display was the " Runner Up "

The " Best Display" was won by Morten Albek, well known in this forum. Morten brought 4 display.....

I brought two display....I won " Best Shohin"

Some of my favourite bonsai...the taxus was the winner in this categori.

I guess it was the Ulmus Nire standing on the table....but it was not the only tree mentioned in the display, all were.

I would have loved to have made it over to Kolding but the delights of København and the logistics of getting to the show prevented my attending.... looks great

I was refering to the pine to the right side of the center pine: is it a BP??
