the leaves looks like pyrachantha but branches got very sharp and hard thorn and the fruits is similar to that of pomegranate
I have dwarf pomegranate that has thorns. Mine produce single fruit that is larger than yours.

Sorry, I cant help you with ID'ing, but I just wondered, what is the name of the small "weeds" growing in the pots?
Im searching for something that can grow in my pots aswell, and not moss. The moss I have used seemed to just dry out too fast..

I also got that variety. but this tree is very different, my other pomegranate got soft leaves and not thorny. this one got thicker leaves and fruits are clustered.

Same here with me. I rarely use moss, unless my tree is placed in partially shaded area.
the one I'm using is the small leaf clover,,,the roots are shallow very easy to maintain.
