Gepetto ( Will Baddeley) at work in Denmark

Will was visiting and was very busy carving last weekend, I put some pictures on now and the rest later.
It was nice meeting you again Gepetto, I did really enjoy myself.

I wish I lived close enough to drop by and watch the puppet maker in action. I'm sure I would learn so much with just a few minutes of observing in person. Very cool to see. I love Will's deadwood creations.

Yes they are amazing, his skill and eye for detail are superb, not to mention his patience with all us bonsaifreaks.

'Will the dead-wood man.' Have to agree though; what trees I have seen that Will has worked his magic on are wonderful and perhaps more importantly .... believable.

I wish some day our first and only (for the time being) greek bonsai club will be in a position to arrange some similar workshop (perhaps inviting Will.....???). Nothing wrong about dreaming..., isn't it?

One of the Pines I was given to work on. There was some inverse that needed dealing with so a shari was created underneath.

As well as the shari, a small amount of wood was removed to reduce the thickness and help with movement. We will work on this tree again next year to improve some more.

Another Sylvestris I worked on. Unfortunately no before picture but I was pleased with the result.

Will did a fantastic work at our workshop - worked hard all weekend - and just look at the results !!!

Why do you think I have been advocating Ronseal wood hardener for so long. Damn site cheaper than the blue pills, that's for sure.

Ole Clæfer's Juniper, ready for some carving refinement and styling.
