Re: mis pequeños compañeros
Nice tree. I think I would remove the bottom branch at some point. How did the nebari turn out after the airlayer? it is hard to tell with all fo the moss.

Hi!
I agree with Carolee, the lower branch makes this tree more "uncommon". If it will be removed the tree will be much more poor.
Good (simple)tree.
Best regards,

Nice tree. I also like the lower branch and if removed I would do so by air layering. I think it has a natural feel with it present styling . I see lots of these growing naturally and lower branches like that are abundant. It's just that in nature that branch would probably get broken off in a storm. Looks very nice.
I am acquiring a new Acer today so this is gives me some inspiration.
Ty for sharing.

Joe

G'day Samajari...
Nice Maple...howsomeever, without seeing it up close and personal...IMAFMHO (InMyAncientFeebleMindedHumble Opinion...
If it were my bonsai, that lower left branch would have to go...it looks like that branch was just stuck there...in the absence of anything else to do with it. But then, if it were removed, I might have to remove the first right branch and the second left branch. I would pass on making it look more uncommon...with that branch.
Just plain good, very good, execution of a "common" Maple bonsai would work better for me.
Remember, I said MY opinion, and without the upclose and personal look.
