I have a japanese cedar just tepotted and now the tips are turning brown. The curse of the balck thumb continues. Crying or Very sad

Cryptomeria japonica are very prone to losing a bit of foliage after root work. Some can lose a lot, some just a little. Try to keep them part shaded and mist spray a couple of times a day for a week or two. I know because I've been growing a lot of them in the ground for a few years and lifted about 15 this spring. Some look near dead, but are still sprouting new fresh growth from the trunk. Others have hardly lost a needle.
