new to bonsai
Hi, i am quite new to bonsai, a few years ago i went to a bonsai exhibition and saw the most beautiful displays
They were bonsai but they had beautiful wood which seemed to be bleached and had some of the bark removed, they were truly amazing to look at and i was wondering what they were called
thanks

Re: new to bonsai
Those probably were junipers or pines or some other sort of conifer. They're most often displayed with deadwood.
