Trimming Ficus Burtt Davyi

I have a Ficus Burtt Davyi that is about 6 years old and want to stylize it. Currently it is happy and has green fruit on it. Is it alright to trim it now or should I wait until the fruit has ripened and fallen off?

Remove the fruit, it only draws energy from the tree. You can work on Ficus all year provided you can protect it and being in a colder climate you will need to do so every winter.
